Our team of professional movers will come fully prepared with tools. They can take apart and reassemble most any furniture that requires disassembly to be safely transported. It is not generally necessary to disassemble any pieces prior to the moving day. However, to save time and money, some people choose to take apart items such as cribs and beds prior to moving day. This does speed things up a bit and can be reflected in the bill at the end. Our trucks are pre-stocked with equipment and tools needed especially to meet our qualifications for your moving needs. This equipment is used to move your furniture safely and efficiently. Stairhopper Movers owns all standard moving equipment necessary to perform moves safely and efficiently. We will wrap your furniture pieces with furniture pads, shrink wrap your couch before we even begin to move it out of the living room, and even help you disassemble and reassemble your bed frames. If you need help packing, Stairhopper Movers can have professional packers help you pack just the fragile items or the entire house. We will provide as many wardrobe boxes that you need on the day of the move so you don't have to box your hanging clothes.

At Stairhopper Movers, we only hire skilled movers and drivers. They must pass a drug and alcohol test, a full back ground check, have a good work history, and many more checks before they will enter a clients home.

All of Stairhopper's movers are highly trained in an on-going training system that we have spent many years developing. Our foremen are required to have at least 3 years of moving experience. They must exhibit exceptional supervisory skills before they can take charge of a moving crew. The movers themselves go through extensive in-house training before getting on-the-job experience.
