General moving tips

If you are packing yourself, make sure to keep everything well-organized so that you can keep having fun when you arrive at your new place. Clearly label the boxes with the contents and destination(i.e. "DR" dining room, "MBR" master bedroom)
Try to put heavier items in smaller boxes and bulky and lighter items in larger boxes. DO NOT over or under pack boxes. If you over pack the box it's likely to split open and you will have things sticking out of the top. This makes it difficult for the movers to pack them in the truck.
Under packing your boxes is also detrimental, often the top of the box will be dented or crushed. Keep a detailed inventory of everything you pack.
Items of Personal Importance/Sentimental Value
We suggest that all the irreplaceable items and\or sentimental items be carried with you instead of being packed with your shipment.
